don’t panic, it was her cousin’s school Christmas fair but really it confirmed everything we thought about schools and much as Becca was interested in it all she was also quite “bothered” by some bits. Bits like reading schemes and the reception teacher telling her (obviously assuming she was going to be going to school soon) that she would be able to do crafts 2 or 3 times a week (like this was something special….) I don’t think she will be asking to go….
We got our first Christmas card today too - very pretty but mercifully glitter free as she opened it on my bed!!!!!
Other news - she wrote in a few more Christmas cards and demanded a second chapter of Last Battle - Digory and Polly along with the “kings and queens of Narnia” came into the story which excited her greatly, the news that Susan no longer “believed” was met with “she’s silly then!”…..
Jesse tree was Abraham and Isaac and the ram. I know I’ve read this to her a few months ago without her really taking much notice (obviously) but this time she was really taking notice, asking questions etc. Didn’t really need the “notes” that came with it, we covered more bases on our own really!

For what it’s worth, I finally convinced Media Player to behave but still can’t convince Napster that I don’t want every music track on my PC played via it!
