Jesse tree today was the 10 commandments, not much you can colour on 2 stone tablets really!
Our new “chapter book” is Light at Tern Rock which is a light read after so much Narnia. Only 4 chapters in this one.
Grandma’s Attic today was about pulling your weight as part of a family, so after we finished that we went upstairs and picked up the stuff in her room (again) I can’t really shout, she doesn’t have much of an example to follow really but somehow I feel that her seeing a less than perfect family struggling to keep tidy is more likely to be helpful than my parent’s immaculate house that seemed to stay clean all on it’s own (except my small corner of it….)
We are stuggling to get all the cards made, she finished the outside of a few today but somehow only 20 of the original 40 I printed seem left and barely any of them finished. Must try to get her to write in 2 or 3 a day in the vain hope of getting them finished before new year!
